June 12th Ontario By Pass & Robs Trail

Aloha- The Ontario By Pass Road is a classic that leads to a much older classic, the infamous Tour de Suds. The moment you step on to this trail you have forgotten the start of your day and have this feeling of tranquility and joy. There is just something about it that eases the mind and soothes the spirit. This can be a busy spot at times but we seem to get lucky most of the time and have it mostly to ourselves to run wild on. From here the options are many with numerous trails spurring off in all directions and enough shade to keep us cool and content. Robs trail is also a favorite, although it is a much more popular trail for hikers bikers and dogs, it offers great shade smooth trails and nice views. We like going here for the socialization factor because you do run into a lot of folks with there dogs, hikers, bikers, runners and guided groups as well. There is one main trail and 3 spurs to take on this one, Rose buds, Collins, and a private trail that is nice and steep for some heavy breathing, if you are into that sort of thing, and it also leads up to the Mid Mountain trail if you are into a longer adventure. Peace...M
