July 26th adventure in Summit Park

Aloha,
I must correct an error I made on Monday's adventure which said we were in Summit Park. Our hike was actually on the Tour De Suds/Ontario/Empire/Little Chief trails which by the way is fantastic riding for all you hard core riders who love jumps and berms in lush forest as much as I do!! Giddy up! Summit Park is on this day the 26th which is another super cool place to be in the hot summer. The trails are absolutely off the charts right now! Get out and play my friends.
Peace Schwaby

July 25th Summit Park adventure

Aloha,
Summit Park is always a good time with shade, steep climbs, amazing views and HUGE trees. The trail system is super fun for most levels of bikers and good for all hikers. There is no water so bring extra when hiking with your dogs. Peace...Michael

July 22nd Jordonelle adventure

Aloha,
The Jordanelle is nice and full with a good trail on the perimeter. It was a rest day for Schwaby and a low impact day for the dogs yet an awesome workout. This is a great place to take your dogs on the northeast side of the lake with plenty of parking and bathrooms, a park pass is required in the main lot but you can park outside for free. Life is good. Mahalo and peace. Schwaby

July 20th & 21st Adventures in Summit Park and Pinebrook

Aloha,
Beautiful and lush Summit Park and Pinebrook are some of our favorite hiking trails with many variations of trail loops, lolly pops and out-n-backs to enjoy. The dogs have been working so well together and with our newest pack member Moki who has come a long way in just a month. He is enjoying the other dogs and all our fun adventures. Socialization is a key component for a balanced dog, along with exercise, a natural diet and direction from a good pack leader. Are you a good pack leader? If not...I can show you how.

July 19th Iron Mountain adventure

Aloha,
Iron Canyon rocks dude!! Fabulous day, dogs and hike! This is always a challenging yet exhilarating climb up to one of Park Cities most amazing view areas. The first picture is just one of them, great spot to hang out for awhile and check out our town and its incredible surroundings. I wanted to see the new Mid Mt. trail so we got going instead of hanging out. Troy and the boys are doing a bang up job and the new trail is a little rocky and rough in spots yet good to go, so get out their my ridin' and hikin' buddies and have fun, it's really cool! We always run into mostly nice and fun people and dogs on this trail, and my pack was most excellent, very proud of them and their good behavior. I live for days like this!! Life is good. Peace..Schwaby

July 18th adventure

Aloha,
As you can see there is still water coming down from the snow melt in Daly Canyon for the dogs to enjoy...and did they ever, especially Brophy. We started out on the Daly road went up to Johns 99, to Empire Link, down an old school trail back to the Daly Mines. The flowers are going off and the trails are as lush as I have ever seen them. Get out side my friends and enjoy the incredible beauty!! Life is GOOD! Mahalo & Peace. Schwaby
FYI-I am asking everyone to check for ticks with all this wet weather.

july 14th & 15th

Aloha,
It was fun in the sun on our Thursdays and Fridays adventures in Daly Canyon and Shadow Lake topping off another fantastic week in the mountains. Daly was perfect with water, cool shade and for all you bikers, primo dirt and all ridable! Guardsmans pass to Brighton opened up this week so we ventured down to Shadow lake via Dead Tree with a few lingering snow patches and a very full lake. Scotts trail had a few downed trees which we removed and a few snow patches left but mostly ridable. Summers late but it's here!! Peace...Schwaby

Aloha...Super cool and fun week with the dogs on the ridges of our AMAZING mountains. These last two days; Canyons and Summit Park. Nutritional tip-feed your pets a variety of foods, mix it up with raw meets and veggies, plain yogurt, fruits and leafy greens. Your dog will love it and you too. Peace Schwaby
