January 7th-10th adventures

 Good dogs!! These three stayed sitting until I released them.

This shot was taken just below the upper ridge where we were getting blasted by high winds just before it started really snowing hard.  The snow was squeaky, a tale tale sign of cold light snow, just how we locals like it! Oh,  Just after this shot we found ourselves face to face with a Mama Moose and her baby. Nala was thinking she was going to be brave and stand up to Mama moose until she realized how big this animal was.  This was the only way down the trail so we had to take it wide and all the dogs wised up and followed me through the deep powder.  I am not sure if Magic even saw the two moose because he stayed on the trail and met up with us,  he must have not been much of a threat to Mama.
Great week of hiking and adventuring through our amazing back yard.

January 3rd adventures in Round Valley & Jeremy Ranck

Aloha,

Another gorgeous day in the hills of Round Valley and Jeremy Ranch.  The trails are in great condition for hiking and Round Valley is firm enough to ride your bike on for a good part of the day, it has been COLD!  Jeremy is not so good for bikes but excellent for hiking and views.  We saw many animal tracks, just now animals.  No one but us on this trail today...Life is good.

January 2nd New Years adventure in Pinebrook

Happy 2013 everybody!!  What an awesome day to begin the journey through another year of Schwaby Dogs Adventure Academy... Welcome Back Dreyfus! He was off for a few days and was very happy to be back with da Pack!
