Our second hike of this fine day ended up on another ridge called Empire Pass. We had not been for awhile and always have enjoyed this one for the fabulous views and yes, there was snow. I took the snow shoes so we could get some powder fun and hike on the new T&G trail that is still nice for hiking, snow shoes recommended. We had the place to ourselves, very peaceful.
The third and final hike of the day landed us back in the Colony after dropping off Roxy. This new section where the snowmobilers go was recommended by a friend and its very cool and lots of terrain to play in. This late afternoon hike was pleasant and peaceful.
