Jan 12th in Eagle pointe Jan 13th Drop Out trails & King Road

Aloha Friday,
There are some awesome fun twisting trails across from the White Barn that we have recently discovered. They climb up to the radio towers and wind there selves every which way, one could get a little lost up there, but we eventually found our way, meanwhile having a great time, especially the dogs.
Another new trail for us this year is in the Jeremy ranch area. The trail head starts behind the Rasmussen business commons and weaves its way up to the Drop out trails and 24/7 trail. This is only open to hikers in the winter time because they are down hill courses with fun and exciting features to roll and jump over on your bike in the riding season. Dog friendly and wide open.
Our last hike of the week was up King road and through the woods of the infamous Johns trail which is covered in snow for the most part but easy hiking and a lot of fun.
This weeks training tip-working with your dogs is on going all the time when you are with them and not in sessions. Giving them direction and setting boundaries will make for a balanced and happy dog.
Peace. schwaby
