Nov 30th Silvercreek adventure

Aloha,

Beaver ponds all the way up this canyon...

A few game trails today....

Nice grassy fields to run and play in, great place to take a nap...

Aah gee..not even one? Please!!!  Good girl Josie!
It was a cloudy looking-like rainy day in Silvercreek with Roxy, Sasha, Josie and Dryfus and we made the best of it. The trails were actually quite nice and you could skirt the mud for most of it either next to the trail or in the grassy fields where all the wild life seems to roam. One could take a nap in these cushy fields of grass. The beaver ponds a very cool and mostly frozen over until you get a big guy like Dryfus on them and they are not so frozen, for he had a little break through if you know what I mean.  All in all it was a fine place to hike during this late mud season that we are having.

Peace... Schwaby

August 28th adventure in Daly and Pinebrook

August 27th adventure in the Canyons resort

The Colony ridge is an amazing place where we can see the Crest Line trail and awesome views of the Wasatch  Mountains. We are usually the only ones up there. Love this hike and so do the dogs!!

Aug 24th adventure to the HIGH UINTAS...

Beaver creek trail head

Uinta Horses in the back ground. Can you see them?   This is Tillman...Always talking.

November 28th Glenwild easy Wednesday

Aloha,

I do recommend this trail for hiking,  not biking, for there are a few wet spots on the south facing side and the north...forget about it!! Water at the beginning and end for the dogs is great and the easy trails are relaxing and fun for all. This particular trail head is located behind the Montessori  School next to Burt Brothers Tires in Jeremy.  Remember to always be respectful of others, watch out for wild life and  pick up after your dogs.  We are very fortunate to have access to so many trails, lets keep it that way shall we.

November 27th Summit Park

Aloha,

I am not recommending Summit Park at this time, at least not until we get more snow or it melts, I'm hoping for snow because the latter option may take awhile and that will not be good for our town. It was icy and treacherous, still nice to be there but not recommended. The dogs did not seem to mind, four paw drive helps, yet they too had to bring it down a notch and stayed closer to me. If you do decide to venture out to these normally fabulous trails, bring your cat tracks and ski poles and some extra time, because you will need all of them, trust me!
